ACUPUNCTURE AND INSURANCE COVERAGE

Although every policy is unique and can differ widely regarding coverage, we have been able to obtain reimbursement from the following insurance companies:

• Blue Cross Blue Shield - State and Federal
• Aetna
• United Healthcare
• United Benefit
• CIGNA
• Humana
• Vista
• Many self-insured corporations
• Most auto-insurance companies

This is by no means a complete list. Please allow us to contact your insurer to determine coverage.

Unfortunately, Medicare does not yet cover acupuncture nor do HMO's. Write to your congressmen and demand coverage for acupuncture. Your voice will be heard and it can make a difference. If you have been involved in an accident, we will accept PIP coverage and Medpay benefits. In most of these instances, you will not incur any out-of-pocket expense for your treatment.
